Tanzania imepokea tuzo kwa kuandikisha watoto darasa la kwanza 95% kwa Afrika kama sehemu ya utekelezaji wa MDG 2 (HabariLeo 21/09/2010). Kutokana na reports za MDGs ni asiye mwelewa wa MDG 2 ndio atakubali tuzo hii.
MDG 2 reads achieve universal primary education in short it is UPE; its target is Ensure that, by 2015, children everywhere, boys and girls alike, will be able to complete a full course of primary schooling
What will it take to meet the education target?
Full enrolment or access to education, however, is only part of the solution. Completion of a full course of primary schooling is necessary to achieve universal primary education.

MDG 2 inadai quantity iendane na quality Achieving universal primary education means more than full enrolment. Serikali ya CCM inatakiwa kupokea Award kutoka UN baada ya kuifikia hiyo target na sio kujisifia kupokea award kutoka kwenye institution isiyokuwa na Authority na bila kufikia hiyo target!!
