In chess, you never expose your King to an attack. Matter of fact, the King is never used in the battle until the very last stages of the game when almost all the pieces are eliminated.

Moral of the story is, when you see a player moving his King all over the place recklessly, there are two things. Either, you are dealing with an amateur or there is a high degree of recklessness.

Beautiful analogy, it shows how deep of a thinker you are but explaining a little bit about checkers on your first paragraph as you did with chess, would kill it.
 
Any board games are a great way to spend time with friends. If we get together with a group of friends, we always play different board games.
