a good weapon for CDM against ccm is for their leaders to stay firm and united on issues they have been standing for all the time....all of them (including their MPs) should stand very firm and united on whatever they preach....starting from the parliament to their CC.....and bavicha.....Any decision made by CDM (be it from leaders or MPs)should follow their party's manifesto and should be supported by all members.....Its only by doing this that CDM will win the ccm attacks(both from outside and within CDM itself)...Jah bless them CDM....

Ili linawezekana pale tu mahitaji ya mwananchi yanatekelezwa ndani ya muda mfupi tu. Tungelikuwa ndo tumepata uhuru, ingelikuwa na mantiki lakini 50 years baada ya uhuru inaondoa dhana ya serikali iliyokaribu na matatizo ya wananchi.

Lami na daraja la Igunga ni sehemu ndogo sana ya malalamiko ya wananchi wa Tanzania. Kwa wengi, huo unasomeka kama ni usanii tu, ambapo mambo mengi ya msingi hayajatimizwa au kuelezeka. Kufanya hayo ndani ya miaka miwili ni muujiza!

Hayo ndiyo matarajio ya wananchi wengi kwa wanasiasa.CCM imechelewa kusubiria PRESSURE za Chadema ndio ijitume.wengi wanaamini kama miaka 51 haikuwatosha ccm , Je hichi kipindi kifupi kabla ya 2015 wataweza kuwaridhisha wananchi wote kwa kero zote.Ukumbuke CDM nao hawatakuwa kimya.Wengi wanaamini CDM ikiingia madarakani itawapeleka mbali zaidi kuboresha maisha yao zaidi ya ccm,hatakama inawezekana kusiwe na ukweli huo baadae.

Mahitaji ya binadamu hayaishi na hayana mwisho.Angalia mifano ya nchi zilizoendelea ambazo barabara,madaraja, umeme sio ishu kwao tena, wako kwenye level zingine za mahitaji. lakini bado michuano ya vyama vya siasa kugombania kuwashawishi wananchi kukamata dola bado ni mkubwa mnoo.

I think all in all JK and his party know that their days are numbered. We need to see the issue in its totality. What JK is doing right now is like handing out a candy bar after wrongly punishing your kid. Most of us as parents do that from time to time, misplacing the car keys and becoming all worked up accusing the kids of playing around with the keys, only to find them in the pocket of another jacket. Feeling sorry and embarrassed you decide to treat the kid with what you always tell them they can't have until Saturday.

What ccm should know is that the people of Tanzania are no longer kids. Maybe we were some years ago, but come on, at 51 years, we know better than that. I agree, there will be some who will be easily 'bought' by the tarmac roads, and the 'bridges' (like the one in Singida which was broken by floods just last week), the ward schools that have been built across the country etc. However I strongly believe that the majority of voters are yet to be charmed by these superficial gestures and they see right through them. Take the people of Mtwara for instance and the whole gas question, do you really believe they will be calmed down that easily? What about the cholera patients and their families who sleep outside in a makeshift camp (sorry I don't remember where this was, I just saw it on TV yesterday) because the camp is ill equipped without beds or even enough ivs to help the patients, will they really be charmed that easily? The list is endless...

JK may succeed in charming the people of Igunga (maybe) and a few more places to sing his praise but the long rains have just started, let us see how long those celebrated 'tarmac roads' and 'bridges' will last. I bet they will be broken long before the next elections.

Kwani watanzania wanachotaka ni nini? kama JKatatumia sera za CDM kutuletea maendeleo
ndicho watanzania tunataka,lakini its too late hawezi fanya yale yaliyoachwa kwa miaka mingi

I dont think the problem is giving praise for what has been done (Nation Building). The issue here is that political parties uses the National projects to express political strength. Nation building involves taxpayers money. Taxpayers comes from different political parties. CCM hawawezi kusema ujenzi wa nchi ni zao. Ni uongo! Ujenzi wa nnchi ni wetu wote.

Do you know how small is window of opportunity for a CHADEMA to General election?. The party have only 33 months and between these months, to name few, the'll face ;

1) 3 major parliamentary assembly (budget) and it takes chunks of almost 5 moths for year in parliamentary assemblies plus other small gathering.

2) internal election (expect fierce fighting and wrangling)

3) referendum for new constitution (go to the public to sell the party position on new constitution)

4) Local government election

In fairness, when it comes to organisation and political playfied, CCM have advantage than CHADEMA.

I'm not very sure if CHADEMA is ready for upcoming political game. May be, I'm wrong as time will tell.
