Iran China Russia and North Korea Providing Weapons to Hamas Amid Gaza War Report

Iran, China, Russia and North Korea Providing Weapons to Hamas Amid Gaza War: Report
Gaza Strip: As the Israel-Hamas war escalates, multiple reports have revealed that the Palestinian militant group Hamas has been fighting with the help of weapons built by Iran, China, Russia and North Korea.

As per an Associated Press analysis, sniper rifles from Iran, AK-47 assault rifles from China and Russia and North Korean rocket-propelled grenades have been found in Gaza.

After analysing more than 150 videos and photos in the three months of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, AP has revealed that the militant group used a "diverse patchwork of arsenal weapons from around the world". A majority of these weapons were smuggled past a blockade which has been in place for 17 years, particularly to avoid a military buildup like this.

These weapons are not only being used in the current conflict but were also used during the deadly October 7 Hamas attacks on southern Israel, which killed around 1,200 people.

As per AP, in the images of Hamas militants holding weapons, the weapons appear to be relatively new, which provides evidence that the group has found ways to secure arms amid the air and sea blockade on Gaza.

“The majority of their arms are of Russian, Chinese or Iranian origin, but North Korean weapons and those produced in former Warsaw Pact countries are also present in the arsenal,” N.R. Jenzen-Jones,- an expert in military arms told the Associated Press.

Hamas has not openly stated that these four countries are providing weapons to the group. The concerned governments have also not commented on the reports.

Recently, South Korea's National Intelligence Service revealed that North Korean weapons had been recovered from Gaza by the Israeli defence ministry and accused the North of helping Hamas' fight against Israel. The DPRK regime has not commented on the matter.

The Israel-Hamas war broke out on October 7, 2023. After the deadly terror attack on Israel, the Jewish state launched a complete siege and assault on the Gaza Strip with the aim of “wiping out” Hamas. Since then, nearly 24,000 people have been killed in Gaza. Apart from the massive civilian death toll, several media workers, health workers and UN Staff have also died due to Israeli bombardment.

SIO SAWA.

SIO SAWA.

The mainstream media exist because stupid people are easily fooled and outraged.
