Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask about the current job market in Abu Dhabi. A lot of my friends who are fresh graduates have been applying on LinkedIn and Indeed for months, but mostly getting automated rejection emails because they don't have 2-3 years of UAE experience.
Some people are suggesting that for entry-level roles (like admin, customer service, or retail), it's better to stop applying online and just start attending walk-in interviews.
Has anyone here actually landed a job through an open day recently? Is it worth the time and effort to travel to these locations, or is it just a crowd of hundreds of people for one position? Would love to hear some real experiences!
