jf's i have installed wine in my ubuntu 11.4 but still it fails to open and edit my .pub files but it does only for .doc,.xls help me out of this mess.

Am not certain kama office pack ya ubuntu huwa ina publisher, though sijaitumia muda. nakumkuba ppt, doc, xls ..that you can open. Yours is a publisher file, no?

Hi Mr.@ eliah Natty's current version of Wine is wine-1.3.15, only three point releases behind the newest beta (1.3.18) found in WineHQ. If you absolutely must use the latest, follow these instructions. WineHQ - Installing the latest Wine on Ubuntu
