Can it be true about these Aussies

I worked with one Aussie in bongo, he found it hard to stomach the idea that "the four corners of the world", meaning east, west, north and south, are arbitrary conventions.

So as far as that experience goes, I would have to affirm.

But I would also hate to overgeneralize.

Can it be true about these Aussies

I have been working with Australians in some mining. This might be right because It is an isolated continent, and from before it was used as another european jail/prison. When you are sentenced to death especially in england, you might be luck that they ask you to go and work in Australia or been killed. So from that point of view, people there have to trust their government and obey everything. But they are real hard working people and very tough.
