The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has dismissed as fake a letter circulating on social media claiming that Farouk Kibet is a wanted criminal facing arrest. The agency clarified that the alleged arrest notice did not originate from them.
At the same time, the letter above purporting that William Ruto had fired Kibet from his State House role over gross misconduct has also been confirmed as fake. Authorities say both letters are fabricated and part of ongoing misinformation targeting the President’s aide.
