Hello,

This thread is specifically to help Tanzanians who misunderstand English statements because it's been happening a lot recently. We will quote the statement and the response from the confused fellow and explain the intended meaning here or if it is a wrong statement, we will correct it here.

Kenyans.

In the screenshot above, Teargass stated that he invested Ksh. 75k to his investments.
concordile 101 misunderstood it to be that Teargas had made Ksh. 75k in a day.

leta evidence ya kuwa unaingiza 75k sio maneno

Investing and making are two different things. To invest is to put your money into something. To make money is to earn or gain money from your investments or job.

concordile 101 I hope you got educated.

concordile 101 kuje uelimishwe Kiingereza huku uache kuaibisha wenzako.

Na venye muko na accent broken sijawahi kuelewa English ya wakenya! ni kama English ya wanigeria, too broken.
How can an accent be broken?
Accent is the distinctive way of pronouncing words by a particular person or a particular group of people. Accent does not detremine whether a langiage is broken or not.

I find it difficult to speak English, can you help me to know what the problem is.

After the English classes, we will talk on how a country can feed its population.

If you are not good at pronunciation then you don't know the language.
This is to say that Kenyans aren't fluent in English at all.
