The State has amended the charge sheet against socialite and businessman Christian Asiimwe, alias Don Chris, adding seven new files containing 50 counts each and bringing the total number of charges against him to 350.
Asiimwe is accused of obtaining money by false pretences, allegedly telling victims that he could secure them external employment in Canada through Sky Pins Tours and Travel.
He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
More than 30 people who claim to have been defrauded are attending the proceedings at the City Hall Magistrates’ Court in Kampala, as the case continues.
The charges relate to allegations that victims paid money after being promised opportunities to secure jobs abroad.
