There is a big power problem in the country, the Government recently announced that the national electricity supplier (TANESCO) is not able to meet the demand of power in the country. Do you think it is time for Tanzanians to start adressing this issue by using alternative sources of Energy say, Solar power? Because it fairs well in our climate and we enjoy a lot of sunshine. Dont you think that people in the Rural areas should start using solar or wind power? I know that the initial installing costs are high for these energy sources but it is well worth it in the long-run, you end up saving a lot. Let us not rely on TANESCO and the government alone, it is time for us to be innovative. What do you say regarding this critical matter?

10000 $ is more than enough. Give me a call on 0784-777117.....I know a dealer who will give you the best equipment for the cheapest price in the country.Do I think people should use solar power? You bet I do! But does it make any difference? I hate bills, all bills! I particularly hate power bills in a place like Tanzania where you hardly get any power!
Id like a life without water and power bills, and I would be willing to pay for that privilege (if it doesnt cost the earth). Is there anyone out there who would be so kind as to give me some idea of just what kind of money Id need to fix myself with my very own water and electricity?
Would an investment of $10,000 or so be enough to do the solar power part? Would it do the trick in a house with three or four bedrooms, a fridge, a freezer, a TV set, an electric iron, a computer, a stove and some ordinary lighting? In case $10,000 would not be enough for all that, then would taking out the stove make it feasible? Id be willing to use gas for cooking if I could have everything else.
If I were to find the courage to ask that a guest wing (servant quarters to some) be included in this solar powering scheme, then how badly would the estimate blow up? Could I get off with $15,000
I cannot end without saying a thing or two about the people who have messed up our lives so much. Why cant the CCM government do even one thing right? If Jerry Rawlings could find the resources to electrify all of Ghana then why couldnt the CCM mob spare enough of our money to supply at least half the country with power? When will they stop eating all our power?
