It was about a girl rumoured to be having his baby, an issue Diamond has been running away from since the story emerged last year. He was tense and for seconds, his head remained bowed as the TV host, a celebrity Clouds FM presenter, insisted on getting an answer as to whether the Nataka Kulewa singer was actually a father. "It is either a yes or no," the host insisted, challenging Diamond to clear the air, once and for all. However, Diamond remained lip locked, his gestures and unease telling the story between the lines. And what could be more hard than talking about a love affair involving the singer and VJ Penny, his immediate former girlfriend whom he left after finding out she was his relative, a blood relative he was having an intimate romantic affair for months. The two had had a steamy affair open to public. They were planning to get married. That, until their fears were confirmed. The February 2013, revelations that Penny was expecting Diamond's baby got him on the headlines. However, it was all treated as mere speculations until Diamond admitted that the two had been in a serious relationship. And then came the break up. However, very few have heard Penny's side of the story since, and as Diamond was chickening from letting it all out, the Tanzanian beauty was all out, spilling the beans about the celebrity relative she had fallen for. "Every girls dream is to get prince charming. If you want to know the truth about a man you are in a relationship with, ask him about marriage. We had been talking about marriage since we grew close…I am trying to move on," VJ Penny, the shy blonde haired girl said, reminiscing about the romantic affair she had with Diamond adding that she had no regrets about their love. "Things happened so fast. We hooked up during a project. He was moving to a new house and I was helping him renovate it. On this evening, we were exhausted and we took a bed nap together. The next thing we were seeing were photos of us on blogs with people saying we are a couple," Penny revealed. It was after this that the two became an item. Then, public pressure started mounting on them. Diamond had been dating Wema Sepetu, a celebrated former Miss Tanzania crown holder who happened to be Penny's friend. Matters were complicated; Penny was digging in, loving her girlfriend's man, a man who would turn to be her relative. "As we got close, I got to know his family. The mum loved me.
