Death by a thousand cuts is what the ‘main’ opposition party, CHADEMA, is going through right now.

The steady drip drip of defections...a councilman/ councilwoman here, an MP there, is what eventually will lead to CHADEMA’s waterloo.

A painful demise right in front of our very eyes.

But tell that to the ‘few’ remaining party stalwarts and they’ll make a beeline for your windpipe.

These people are so rabid, so delusional, so deep in denial that it renders it almost impossible to reason with them.

They label anyone who dares to criticize their party or their ‘Dear Leader’ as being on CCM’s payroll.

To them, their ‘Dear Leader’ is above criticism. He is sacrosanct.

Some of us don’t operate like that, though. To us, no one is above criticism and no one is below praise.

If you do good, we’ll praise you. If you eff up, we’ll call you out.

Sad to see CHADEMA end this way.

Once upon a time they carried the hopes of so many Tanzanias, myself included.

Some kind of a very sweet poetic to be heard by CCM hooligans but very painful to CHADEMA fans...!!!
All in all CHADEMA can die a natural death as fast as it begun. But let me say some few words here. I do believe that CHADEMA Leadership under H.E. Freeman Aikael Mbowe has planted seeds in hearts of millions of Tanzanians. CHADEMA will die even today, tomorrow or next year, but those seeds shall grow and prosper one day and nobody, nothing shall stop it.

If you plant a seed in a good soil and somebody put a heavy stone to stop the seed germination, it will be a lunatic idea!!!The seed shall obey the natural course of germination provided there're favorable conditions. What is happening now to CHADEMA is somebody trying to create some unfavorable conditions to stop the seeds from germination. But a seed can stay in soil just waiting for the conditions to be met and here it goes. When the sunlight shall strike those seeds the Photosynthesis shall take place. The heavy stone shall never stop the seed, it will just grow away from the heavy stone direct to the Light from the sun.....nature is very interesting.........in order for the seed to grow it first must die....!!!

Kama ni kifo cha vyama, siyo ajabu ki hivyo. Tulianza na NCCR ambayo ndiyo ilikuwa leader katika opposition. sasa hivi iko kwenye jamvi. ikaja CUF, ikashambuliwa na CCM mpaka hivi sasa inapumulia mashine. ikaja CHADEMA. Nayo inashambuliwa na CCM kwa nguvu sana, ila bado sijaona real threats kwa CHADEMA mpaka hivi sasa.
Unajua Nyani, vyama kama NCCR, ACT, ni rahisi kufa, kwa sababu havina CONSTITUENCY. hivi vyama vimeanzishwa tu na watu waliokutana mahali, ambao malengo yao ya kweli yanaweza kuwa tofauti sana na vile yanavyoonekana. CHADEMA hakikuanzishwa ofisini au na academics au na wapiga dili. CHADEMA ina misingi ilikoanzia, deep ones. as an organisation, kweli kinaweza kufa, lakini siyo rahisi kihivyo kama unavyofikiria.

Lakini kuna agenda hapa ambayo ni kubwa zaidi kuliko CHADEMA, na ambayo mpaka sasa ni CHADEMA na wengine wachache ndio wanaisimamia. kwa watu kama wewe ambao maendeleo ni "structures", hamuwezi kuelewa. mtampigia makofi yeyote anayefanya vitu hapa na pale, bila kuangalia long term impact to the nation. hakuna structure inaweza kudumu bila kuanza na conceptual. JPM hana conceptual, analeta structure baada ya structure. watu kawaacha mbali. hata kama CHADEMA kama chama kitakufa, upinzani utadumu mioyoni mwa watu, na utasubiria chama chochote kitakachotokea na kuwaunganisha.
