I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just wanted to ask if anyone has tried using 3D printing for making concrete block moulds. I’ve seen some people experiment with it using strong plastic or resin, and I'm curious how well it holds up in real use. Could be a cost-friendly option for small-scale production. Anyone here gone that route or thought about it?
You can also play around with concrete oxide colours to make your blocks more attractive, especially if you're targeting landscaping or decorative clients. I started using them on my 6" blocks, and the red and black ones tend to sell faster than the plain grey ones. Just make sure to mix the colour properly so it spreads evenly; I learned that part the hard way.
