computer monitoring program for office

My boss wants me to install some monitoring software on our office computers,i've no idea where to start looking, does anyone have any experience with a decent one?i've tried the filters built into IE but they are terrible...
I have searched google and got some like these

Employee monitoring software
Remote pc spy software
Remote Desktop spy

but there're much more..I have no idea..
personally i dont agree with monitoring staff, things always get round them and i think boss
need to get employee to respect their rules... but like i said its boss!

Filter is a good idea but you need a professional one. IE built-in filter is just for personal blocking for small number of websites. With specific filter software you can block sites, programs, emails, etc. Spy software is also required to prevent information loss and leaking and it's better a remote one.
In my opinion, the best way to realize effective employee monitoring is take 1+2 or 1+3.(I mean the order of the soft you mentioned). Either is OK.
