Wakuu naomba tupeane taarifa ni CMS (Content management System) kwa mazingira , taaisis au tovuti fulani fulani.

Mfano naanza

Wordpress- WordPress › Free WordPress Themes Inafaa kwa kutengeza Blog website na toviti nyepesi nyepesi hasa kama taasisi si kubwa sana au haina vitu vingi.

Joomla - Joomla! .- Hainatofuati na wordpres lakini kwa mtazamo wangii oomla ni very powerful. Inafa akwa kutumika kutengeza tovuti za taaisis kubwa. Inaweza kutumika kutenegza tovuti za makapuni ya habari. Ina extension nyingi sana amabazo zimenifanya nione ni Best kuliko Wordpress.

Drupal- Drupal - Open Source CMS | drupal.org . zaidi yakuisoma s ijaijaribu hii .. Nitapenda kusikia maoni ya walioweza kuifanyia kazi.


FOrum- sija wai kujaribu practicaly kuchunguza kufanyaji kazi wa CMS zinazotumika kwa forum . Nazisoma soma tu So wadau wenye uelewa wamwge majuzi tofauti ya CMS hizi ni nini . Uzuri na ubaya wake

chama cha Kanu kenya wanaitumia,Tanesco,nssf, na taasisi kubwa zinaitumia,so ni cms ya uhakika,pia support yake ni kubwa sana

kwa Drupal, hii imekaa kiusalama zaidi,ni cms nzuri ila haina support kubwa ya watengeneza plugins and extensions
kuna cms inaitwa moodle hii ni nzuri kwa taasisi za kielimu, nchi ya brazil inaitumia ktk vyuo vyake vyote
pia nimeitumia ktk united nations training programs ,

Thanks mkuu lakini worpress sio blog tu unaweza kutengeza hata tovuti kamlili japo ni kweli inamapungufu . nadhani kwa site kubwa joomla ndo inafaakwa uzoefu wangu na kama livyosema.
 
Kuna nyingine inaitwa Mambo iko kama Joomla,nimetumia Mambo na Joomla kwangu JOOMLA ndio best

Mambo ndio mama wa Joomla. In other words, Joomla is a fork of Mambo just as PostNuke was for PHPNuke in those days!

Tatizo la Joomla wakati mwingine upgrade yake inaweza kukukatisha tamaa. Kwa mfano kutoka version 1 na kwenda 1.5 watu wengi walisota kwa sababu haikuwa upgrade bali migration. Kwa sasa kuna wengi wanalalamika kwa sababu upgrade ya 1.5 kwenda 1.6 hakuna mteremko (so far the upgrade script is not that perfect) kwa hiyo kama wasemavyo "you have to make your fingers dirty". Kama matatizo hayo yatatokea tena kwenye version ya 1.6> basi lazima uwe tayari kupambana nayo (in case you opt for Joomla).
 
Mkuu CMS zipo nyingi sana ila ulizozitaja ndiyo maarufu zaidi. Hii inatokana pia na ukweli kwamba tunatumia zaidi php.

Mfano wa ambazo nimewahi kuzitest kuna Plone, Magento (kwa ajili ya comercial sites)...na nyingine zipo specific kwa kazi fulani, mfano za digital libraries kama fedora commons na dspace.

Kama kwa upande wako na mimi kimtazamo Joomla ni bora zaidi. Ila mjadala na mashindano kati ya joomla na drupal ni ya muda mrefu sasa.

Wakati Joomla walipoenda 1.6 na kutoa K2 drupal nao walifyatua CCK na kuboresha views modules.

Angalia data.worldbank.org ni drupal site utagundua kwamba drupal ndio cms yenye nguvu saidi haswa katika database sites (wanakuruhusu ku define custom fields na kuspecify querries kwa kutumia views kwa namna ambayo joomla haiwezi).

Hapo kwenye mail sijakupata vizuri lakini hizo nyingine zote unaweza ukatumia Joomla bila taabu ingawa ukitaka kupata manufaa zaidi itabidi utumie commercial components/modules/plugins (bei huwaga sio mbaya). Kuna uwezekano vile vile kutumia components za chee lakini ni vizuri zaidi kama ukitoboka mfuko kidogo!

Kitu ninachopendea Joomla ni wachangiaji wengi ambao wako tayari kutoa msaada pale mambo yanapokuwa magumu. Nimetumia CMS nyingi lakini tatizo wengine ni wachoyo sana (that's my personal opinion)!

Thanks kamanda BBC wales naona inafana fanana na BBC mama je inawekzekana hata tovuti ya bbc mama wametumua drupal. Je kuna ayejua TBC yetu wametumia CMS gani . Najua NSSF, TRA wanatumia Joomla

Opinion zako zinanipa baadhi ya information ambayo sikuwa nayo
lakini kuna hizi component nyingine za joomla wanasema ni free lakini ukitaka kupata maximum support inabidi uwe member kwenye group la hiyo component. Mfano kuna project nilikuwa najaribu kufanya. ya directory. Component ya Sobirpo niliona ni nzuri. lakini ukitaka kuupgrade kirahisi inabidi uwe Golddenr au silver member.

Bila kuwa member inabidi ufanye upgrade the hardway kwa kufanya migration kama ulivyosema. Ukiwa member unapata acess ya tools na supprt za upgrage. But gharama za kuwa member wa hiyo component bado ni cheap kulinganisha na commercial solution.

So kifupi joomla ni tottaly free laini hizi third pary component nyingine zina vinagharama vidogo.

Mbona sijasikia wadau mkitaja CMS ya microsoft kama sharepoint.

In my opinion, Drupal is to Linux as Joomla is to Windows! If you really wanna get your "hands dirty", go with Drupal! I rank Drupal number one because it never failed me where Joomla has. In some serious coding anyways. I am in love with Drupal's CCK (Content Construction Kit). Views, the menu system, taxonomy, modules architecture... great features! You will fall in love with Drupal once you understand its architecture and know how to set it up correctly.

But what makes the best CMS? Is it security? Is it the looks? Is it the ease of use? The features? Or what is it really? I am sure different developers answer these questions differently. Since Drupal and Joomla are without a doubt the heavyweights of the CMS universe, read this good comparison article by Chris Wiegman: Drupal 7 vs Joomla 1.6.

NOTE: There are so many OpenSource CMS's out there. Check here. Joomla is a good starting point, will get you publishing beautiful website in no time! But if you are a serious programmer and you are looking for something that will flex your programming and art/design muscles, go with Drupal!

Nimejaribu kufanya resarch yangi kama intemediate user naona drupal bado haina supprrt comunity kubwa na article mtandaoni kama ilivyo worpress na joomla. Kama una videoau latest link nzuri nipatie mkuu.

Ni kwel kabisa worpress ni rahisi. kwa siku mbili tu nimetengeza TBC version ya BBC. unaweza kuicheki hapa. TBC | Just another WordPress site Sasa sijui kati ya haka ka site nilikotengeza na site ya TBC Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation - (TBC) ipi ni blog na ipi ni tovuti?

One reason for that is the ease of use. The learning curve for wordpress is NOT as steep as that for Joomla or Drupal. Wordpress is designed as a blogging platform and with the help of addons/plugins it can be extended to a full blown CMS. There was a huge interest in blogging as far as I can remember, and wordpress simply offered the best tools to blog. So many developers were attracted to the project, and with web 2.0 in the picture things just got better and better. More than 14% of websites in Alexa's top 1 million rankings are using wordpress!

On the other hand, Drupal is developed as a Content Management Framework (CMF), the Drupal core. Using the core, with over 10,500 community contributed modules (contrib modules), Drupal can be extended to almost anything you can imagine. The power of Drupal lies in its extensive programming interface. This translates to the steeper learning curve I was talking about. Drupal.org, were everything Drupal happens, has over 635,000 user accounts and over 9,000 developer accounts. Drupal is well documented, you can learn anything and everything from drupal.org! Drupal was written earlier compared to Joomla and Wordpress, but still it has less users compared to the others! This is one reason I compared Drupal's popularity to Linux! No wonder we don't have too many linux users!

Joomla has a huge user base and support community, maybe because of its roots. It is a fork of the Mambo project. Mambo raised a lot of controversy in the open source community and in the end so many developers signed up at OpenSourceMatters.org in an attempt to build something that sticks to the idea of open source software, hence Joomla was born! So Joomla v1 was a re-branded version of Mambo v4! Joomla has grown into widely supported free and open source CMS with a lot of praise from designers and developers alike. It is faster to develop using Joomla than it is using Drupal, but Wordpress beats them in this respect. I hope that answers your question.

Infact they are all rubbish. teh teh teh Its more shame for TBC that they are using an old fashioned newspapaper theme for their web. wich should be more than a news paper site . Too many broken links. No any video or audio clip.. What is the difference between TBC and daily news website?
