Position: Audit Senior

Key Requirements:
- Qualification: Qualified CPA/ACCA with 3 to 5 years of relevant statutory audit experience.
- Independence: Ability to independently handle mid-sized client audits and collaborate effectively in a team for large clients.
- Experience: Sound knowledge of statutory audits, preferably gained in a reputed audit firm.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with ISAs/IASs and IFRSs to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Audit Expertise: Proficiency in Audit Programs, Planning, Execution, and Conclusions.
- Technology Skills: Strong control over IT applications, and familiarity with audit software such as Caseware will be considered an added advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Kiswahili and English speaking is essential.
- Availability: Able to join within one month
As an Audit Senior at Balakrishna Sreekumar & Co., you will:
- Lead and execute statutory audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
- Conduct risk assessment and audit planning to identify key areas of risk and develop appropriate audit procedures.
- Review and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls.
- Perform audit procedures, document findings in working papers, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Identify audit issues, provide recommendations for improvement, and follow up on findings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit programs, procedures, and tools.
- Stay updated with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends.
- Salary will commensurate with the candidate’s work experience and knowledge.
