Asking Questions

Are you guyz encouraged to present mind boggling questions about your religion?

1. "O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102).

2. "The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions ...so do not try to probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77)
"The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) "Allah has hated you...[for] asking too many questions." (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591, Bukhari's Hadith commenting on Muhammad’s reaction to hostile questioners.)

Why did ´the Holy Prophet´ disliked people who wanted to know the truth? What was he hiding?

Nilikuwa nawaeleza hapa tofauti ya imani na ujuzi, nikasema moja ya tofauti ya imani na ujuzi ni kwamba imani haitaki maswali, inataka ukubali kila unachoambiwa bila kuuliza maswali na ujuzi hautaki kukubali bila kuuliza maswali.

Mmoja akajibaraguza hapa, ooh sisi dini yetu tunaruhusiwa kuuliza maswali, mi nikamwangalia tu, sikuwa na muda wa kumchimbua Dawood wangu.

Sasa naona mazee umekita mule mule nilikokuwa nashindilia mwanawane!

Imani hairuhusu maswali, kwa sababu inajua ukiuliza maswali utajanjaruka, mistari ya hapo juu yenyewe inasema hivyo bila aibu.

Na haya si kwa waislamu tu, hata wakristo basically ni kitu hiki hiki ingawaje mambo ya western philosophy kidogo yamesaidia kuweka justification fulani ndiyo maana kuna tolerance ya discussion kidogo lakini at the heart of the church there is no discussion in faith.
