Three reasons Arsenal will beat Man u in FA Cup
Many thought Sir Alex Ferguson was simply a better tactician than Arsene Wenger, but as the last two seasons have shown Β no matter how bad United are playing, Arsenal just canΒt beat them, especially at Old Trafford. I hope and think this will change on Monday. HereΒs three reasons why:
1. WeΒve recently broken our awful record in Manchester
Whilst we havenΒt beaten United for a long time in Manchester, we have beaten City earlier this year. That will hopefully give the players a confidence boost and make them believe that beating another big team away from home is possible. If the Gunners can manage a win on Monday then they would look to have certainly put their big-game troubles to bed.
2.
Mesut Ozil is back to his best
For Arsenal to beat a team of UnitedΒs calibre they need their world class players on form. Sadly, since Ozil arrived from Madrid he has struggled to perform consistently in the big games for the Gunners. However, he is now in good shape and has regularly been a standout performer for the Gunners in 2015. If he can put in another top performance on Monday then Arsenal are very likely to come out on top.
3. Olivier Giroud is on form
The Gunners have often failed to break down United in recent years, especially at Old Trafford. Hopefully this will change on Monday as Giroud has started to find some very good form for the Gunners. He has started to perform better in the big games too, but his performances against Monaco and Tottenham were extremely forgettable. I hope he can continue his recent form in this game as having a striker who can score at Old Trafford is essential. HeΒll need to be at his best if Arsenal win this one, and IΒm confident that he will be.
