The new shirt features a special 125th anniversary crest design combining the graphic of the first Club crest with the current version. The anniversary dates of 1886 and 2011 feature on the heart of the shirt, with the word FORWARD sitting underneath as a tribute to the Clubs first motto. While the history and tradition of the Club is present in the shirt design, the new home kit is made from Nikes ground-breaking recycled polyester which for the first time includes both the shirt and shorts.
Each complete kit is made up of up to fourteen reclaimed plastic water bottles. This new manufacturing process reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to manufacturing traditional polyester saving a huge amount of plastic water bottles from being dumped at landfill sites.
ARSENE WENGER admits he will look to sign some experienced players this summer but vowed to maintain his Arsenal youth policy. Gunners boss Wenger has been criticised for failing to add some older stars to his brilliant young squad after the club failed to win a trophy for the sixth successive season. But following yesterday's 1-0 win over Premier League champions-elect Manchester United, the Frenchman insists he is willing to tinker with but not rip up his football philosophy.
Arsenal's team against United had an average age of 23 years and 296 days the youngest fielded in the Premier League this campaign.
Aaron Ramsey's 56th-minute goal saw the Londoners overcome their rivals although it came far to late to salvage their season. But Wenger reckons the future is bright for his youthful side. He said: "We want to add what is needed but it is very important for the club that we keep faith in what we do.
"You can see that the players grow when they get a chance. Wojciech Szczesny, compared to two months ago, has grown. "It is a law in our game you can only grow at some stage if you play. People want both. "They want to win every game and they want to produce fantastic quality young players as well. "But if Jack Wilshere has grown this season it is because he has played. "However, on the other hand, if you do not win, the same people say 'why do you play young players?'"
ARSENE WENGER admits he is at a loss to explain why Arsenal's season has fallen apart. The Gunners boosted their hopes of claiming second place in the Premier League by beating leaders Manchester United last weekend. But they were brought crashing back to down to earth by a 3-1 defeat at the hands of FA Cup finalists Stoke.
And Wenger cannot pinpoint exactly where his side have gone so badly wrong. He said: "Something has gone you can see that today. It was a disappointing performance.
"The competitive level for Stoke was higher than ours and overall I think we lost the game because they defended much better than we did, with much more purpose.
"Basically, there is not a lot to say." Stoke boss Tony Pulis could not fault the approach of his players with a Wembley final against Manchester City just around the corner. He said: "The biggest compliment I can pay our players is that with the FA Cup final only six days away, their attitude and commitment to trying to win a game was 110 per cent.
"We have played one of the best teams in the country, a team which is competing against the likes of Barcelona and other great teams in Europe, and we have beaten them quite comprehensively."
BACARY SAGNA has told Arsenal they need to get mean in order to win silverware. The Gunners saw their season implode after February's shock Carling Cup final defeat to Birmingham. In the following four weeks, Arsene Wenger's side were then dumped out of the Champions League by Barcelona and FA Cup by Manchester United. And their dreams of winning the Premier League were killed with a miserable 2-1 defeat away at Bolton last month.
It means Arsenal have now failed to win a trophy for SIX YEARS and Sagna has called on his team-mates to toughen up for next season. Speaking after Sunday's 3-1 loss at Stoke, the France right-back said: "We are too nice. We have to fight a bit more. "We have to push opponents as much as they push us and have more of a killer instinct. "We are not defending as well as we have to and against big players like Stoke have, it is very difficult. We have to put in performances week after week and fight even more. "We didn't give enough. We didn't play as we can and that is what happens when you don't give the maximum - you get beaten everywhere."
Huyu Wenger angekuwa Colombia angepigwa risasi na mashabiki siku nyingi, hela ipo, support ipo tatizo ni YEYE asitafute mchawi aondoke kabla hajafukuzwa.Upeo wake umefikia kikomo tunahitaji mawazo mapya hilo ndio ukweli with Wenger tusitegemee miujiza atafutiwe timu ya vijana akuze vipaji.
Neno TEAM watu wanalichukulia kirahisi rahisi.....
Arsène Wenger will not allow a repeat of the 'Mathieu Flamini situation' when he sits down to discuss the futures of Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy this summer. Flamini left on a free transfer to AC Milan in the summer of 2008 after letting his contract run down and his fellow Frenchmen have just one year apiece remaining on their own deals.
Wenger is well aware of the need to secure the services of Nasri and Clichy and that's why he wants their futures resolved before the 2011/12 campaign begins. "We will sort that situation out quickly after the end of the season," said the manager. "We need to know very quickly. "We do not want to do that [allow them to leave on a free like Flamini]. We won't allow that to happen.
"It has to be resolved before the season starts again."
But Fabregas believes any decision on his future will be made by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
"He is the boss, the one who makes the decisions - you should ask him," Fabregas said.
"But I was injured at the end of the season and I haven't seen him for about six weeks."
