Oxford University Press East Africa Ltd (OUPEA) operating in Kenya and Oxford University Press Tanzania (OUPT) operating in Tanzania have been debarred from participating in the World Bank funded projects after being found guilty of corrupting government officials for the contracts awarded to them of supplying text books. The debasement period is three years.

My take: Isn't graft the effective way of winning contracts in East Africa? How can a company win a tender in EA? Will this situation ever change?
