Habari wana-JF,
I came across this kwenye my Google+ Android development community. Ni collection ya vitabu if you want to kickstart your self into Android development.
A background in Java or any OOP language is a plus but not necessary.
Link to the dropbox -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/3tdgfrw6nhz7hd2/Android_Books.zip (About 83MB)
The best way to put the knowledge to practice is by working on real world applications, there are a ton of open source android development applications out there to help sharpen your skills.
Happy Coding
