Why do we race!
Obvious we race to chase performance; performance that lasts, from the start to the finish line.
Age is merely a number; success can be achieved at 20, 30, or 55. Life lacks a precise formula for success, as evidenced by the reality that if one existed, no one would overlook it.
The achievements of Elon Musk, who became a billionaire at 27, or Mark Zuckerberg, who did so at 23, should not lead you into depression at 45, making you believe success is unattainable.
Dance to your own music; comparisons can be highly irritating.
