Hi guys,

I have been successful in setting up powervu for a friend for NSS 7 @ 20° West using dreambox dm800se clone with Openpli 4

- You can flash your dreambox with the current image >> OpenPLi-4.0-beta-dm800se with gstreamer 1.6.0 SSL #84d by gjstroom

- Then install oscam from the openpli feed and make sure its showing in softcam panel

- Replace the oscam bin file in usr/bin with the oscam in my attached file.

- Replace the configs in /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam/

- Restart oscam from panel

- The SID in the softcam. Key is for NSS 7 @ 20° West, those on other sats will have to change it, go to channel>> press menu >> information >> service >> and press the green button, to get the correct Sid for the channel

- Now restart oscam from panel, and channel will start showing, (very Important)

- The oscam.conf is setup to autoroll with emm keys in the softcam. Key


Type in browser to assess oscam webif

The ip_of_your_dreambox:16402


You should see something like this in oscam live log

(reader) emulator [emu] EMM: reader 0E00 match since emmpid has no provid -> SEND

Relax, this means oscam is ready to receive the EMM for the UA listed in your emm key line in softcam

I try tracking 16e and keep ending up on continental package or the zuku/startimes bird

That is why i advise people to use TP 12563 H 30000 the other TP 10805 H 30000 is on two positions if you are going up from 7w you will hit green at 7e. There you still have to go upward till you hit the 2nd green home to 16e,but when you use the former you just hit green at 16e.

I just wanted to see what sat I would get when l added this lnb to the western side of Astra 28.?°E and got Record Mozambique only and a score of empty TP's. Could this be 7° E?

Autoroll feature makes DM fantastic Stb. You wont miss EPL.

The Eut 7A/7Be and Ses 5e is already at hand with a single lnb, Intels 68.5e with a 8ft wire mesh, my primary target now is aljazeera package and MBCs channels.

Aljazeera moved to 10971V30000 E8W while Mbcs r on 7W. Just try but i highly doubt getting this down there.

Thanks Mr. Kamathig, Actually what i wanted is...,i want to buy a sat receiver that is strong 4922 and a 120cm dish plus lnb samson twin as i saw previously on kungus comment,so before i get one i wanted to get advice from this site before i make a decision which one to go for, be you in a position to advice me if I'm on the right track,thanx.

Sometimes back i was also tracking E7E/SES5 and my dish refused to move downwards. I settled for E16A but i loved it later on, becoz of CRTV which transmits one live EPL soccer every wkd. Am using a 90cm with eurostar twin lnb. TPS 11058 & 12064 are too weak with a Q45%.

Can someone help me out.. I have updated srt 4922 to 1.91p and used latest pv keys. It opned MT$ . Another srt 4922 cannot, even after upgrade. What could be wrong?

I have a 180cm prime focus trained on IS20 both c & ku, is it possible to add a ku lnb to nab kenyan mux on 70°E given the closeness of the satellites?
