Thanx to you kamathig.I wanted to ask if i want all local channels plus more other channels which satellite should i nail and the dish size that i'm supposed to use when i have sat receiver strong 4922 please advice?

Mr. H the Double, if ur in Kenya, pls get the local channels through terestrial/Digital tvs/decoders and use ur sat apparators for more stuff from either 7W or 7E&5E...............................

Pls assist Freddygaz. Am not getting 11294 V 45000 and 11060 H 30000 with a 90cm. All other Tps have around Q63%. Where am i going wrong?

Someone once said that his 180cm received the local channels on Intelsat 22 but a 240cm is better. Remember they're on C band.

But why bother yourself with local channels on satellite while you can get a terrestrial box and receive all of them with no hustle so that you will only have to bother about nabbing foreign ones with your treasured apparatus?

Give that a thought.

Actually i would prefer them on satellite to reduce clatter. I mean, you don't want to clatter your living space with a pile of receiver boxes. The ideal solution would be to buy a DVB T2 capable TV if you can afford. Besides most terrestrial boxes around currently are clap. I haven't tried the ADN box though.

The ideal solution would be to buy a DVB T2 capable TV if you can afford. Besides most terrestrial boxes around currently are clap. I haven't tried the ADN box though.

I tend to differ the T2 boxes are excellent because they do what they were intended to do receive terrestrial channels. The little known are nearly the best and most have PVR function. In terms of practicality the BIG BOX is the best because it has several connection options.

H the Double , I would also advise that when you have time, slowly go through earlier posts in this forum. You will get all the wealth of experience and expertise right here. Some of us who you refer to as experts have graduated through the wealth of knowledge in this forum.

Welcome Mr. H the Double. Tell us what you've got and what you need, then we'l share with u the invaluable expertise. We av learnt a lot though from this site in particular and other postings on the web. Av yourself a sat meter and practice n tomorrow you will be advising others.

My tomorrow's plan is to buy a 6ft prime focus dish, having read from previous threads it suggest that I will be able to bring down a Nilesat 201, Eutel 7W and a Eutel 8B in combination using normal lnb.
Now your advise in this plan?

Same direction. Lift the dish up a little bit. Use 10804H30000 to track. It is very near the disappeared Am*s 5 at 17e. I plan to add it to 7e, 7w, 5e on a 150cm, when I get a bit of time.

See the footprint here below, i doubt you getting it in TZ, even here in the northern part of Kenya, the signal is a little bit shaky. What do other members think? Nice weekend and a stress free searching.

Input frq 12562 h 30000 then lift your dish eastward till you hit green if you have MPEG4 or HD compatable reciever then welcome home

The Eut 7A/7Be and Ses 5e is already at hand with a single lnb, Intels 68.5e with a 8ft wire mesh, my primary target now is aljazeera package and MBCs channels.

The channels are active tp 11058H Symbol Rate 30000 dvb_s2.Am getting it on 240cm primefocus using stargold fuji Sg900p. I tested it on 120cm offset dish but its not stable. It seems the Megachoice frequency requires 130cm dish and above.
