you are in opposite azimuth direction, try to rotate you dish slightly left, you will get it, remember elevation is about 48 degrees with about 270 degreesw azimuth

Oh! Was following an earlier post by one Asas member who advice i lift the dish a bit (2 to 3cm) from nilesat..

wayachi, pls what could be wrong with my sky news on IS20@68.5 as I have to keep on going to its PVu keys each time I switch it off/on for it to show and this does not happen to others. I'm using the latest software of 3.39p for the 4950H.

You are almost there. Move if slightly upward, not more than 5mm

I downloaded softcam key from this site

Then I deleted old power Vu keys and loaded downloaded ones. I was able to unlock some new scrambled channels.

Hello family,

Is there any interesting bird from overhead to the Eastern horizon in Nairobi since I don't have view towards the west because there is adjacent to our single storey house a multi-storey building blocking the entire west, so I can only try east.

I am currently locked onto Intelsat 20/Eutelsat 70B (90cm Eurostar offset + Inverto Ultra Black) though local channels are all red on my side.

Any help will highly be appreciated.

Then I deleted old power Vu keys and loaded downloaded ones. I was able to unlock some new scrambled channels.

Pls how do I delete the PVu keys on 4950H and upload your suggested softcam keys. Pls tell me the process

For guys who are using these fancy sat-meters how do you know when you are getting warmer or colder when fiddling with your dish?
I tried using one today and my initial impression was that it was an overpriced outdoor monitor. I had to call on my tiny buzzo-meter to nab nilesat.
for the price they cost one could almost imagine it could be sent to the roof on its own with instructions

The best way is to have it on top of 5.0 east. That way you nail two birds on one dish. I did it like that on 80cm. See below.
