Seems digiturk sale to beIn media is almost through>>>

Turkey?s Competition Board has approved the sale of Digiturk to Qatari beIN Media Group, but the state fund that runs the pay TV platform said the bargaining process was still continuing.

?The acquisition process of Digiturk is still ongoing,? said Turkey?s Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) President Şakir Ercan G?l, adding the state body would make an announcement once the sale was completed.

The approval by the Competition Board was ?just one of the requirements? of the acquisition, he said.

Following the board?s announcement on its website on Nov. 4, media reports, which were later ruled out by the TMSF, said all shares in the broadcaster were handed over to beIN Media Group.

Do you think there might be any chance of digiturk comeback on strong as FTA

Bein has an agenda. First, they shifted to es, hail which is a problem to nail. Now, acquires digiturk. Seems it has declared war on dstv countries

How now? Whats the relationship?
No relation at all. These two providers operate on different markets/regions. Bein are just applying business prudence by consolidating their signals in one sat. Most probably they will shift the digtrk to to Esh*hail too. I think.

hi to you all, yesterday i managed to track this es'hail setlite using a 150cm dish in eastlands nairobi, got all hd channels 1-17.my observations are as follows using the b**n decoder,
1.most of the football channels i.e hd 1-12,hd 13 was a bit stable nba was most stable
2.all movie channels were indicating no signal including fox movies
3.its easier to track than nilesat though it requires a bigger dish hence requires a firm mounting.
4.when the rains came the signals was completely gone till 9.30am this morning
5.150cm dish not suitable for me though signal receivable but the scratches were just numerous
6.my hope for a solution was redeemed.now am confident this setlite is receivable here in Nairobi
7.on my digital satmetre the signal was 38% on tp 11604 h.if only i there was what could be done to add just 7% then all the scratches would disappear .any suggestions guy? am using the inverto black ultra lnb single
8.will try out the 240cm pf and make comparisons
my honnest observations guys they are not conclusive so you may have contra ones to this, no problem you aren't wrong bro.
thanks

Kudos. This is important information, especially if d*g*trk also decide to move there too. You could also try different lnbs like a inverto quad instead of the single. I have also heard that Televes lnbs perform well too. I have not tried them though.

Hey gurus, anybody receiving eutelsat 16A @ 16east, particularly sub-saharan beam with a 90cm in Nairobi? Av tried but on blindscan only channels at Amos 5 pop up! Nisaidieni wazito...which TP do I use?

in a country like kenya, dstv is the only one with rights to broadcast live sport. so owning a bein decoder in Kenya is illegal. let alone using it to watch live sport. Mwisho was bein ni Sudan. It is legal there

You tried during the rainy day? If you still have the setup compare on a sunny day. If it's the Nilesat i know then you cant compare ability to receive/ track with Es'hail. 7w is a walkover.

I once used 10804H30000 and got it as a side Lnb together with Amos.
