If you are in Nairobi, you are at 36 degrees East, therefore paksat @ 38 is overhead (or midday sun), 5e and 7e is west Africa (or Atlantic)...if you are in Lagos Nigeria, your dish will face East to trap paksat

Mungeks, i tried with 120cm offset and nabbed only tp 11604H/27500 & tp 11046H/27500 hosting aljazeera news and documentary.Other tps failed to lock.
I will try with 240cm pf and report back my findings.

Hello satmates....gave Es'hail a check today as the skies were opening up in elnino spirit

Using a 150cm offset and an inverto single lnb I managed to get all MENA frequencies with signal quality btwn of 42% n 46% on openbox V8
Transferring the signal on being sports receiver I got a signal quality of 10% to 30%

The worst thing is when the weather changed I lost all signal....would recommend a 240cm of or a 180cm offset going upwards for us below the equator like in Nairobi.

so in a nut shell,you are submitting that a 150 cm dish is not capable of bringing down the channels hd 11 and hd 12 on the being sporting decoder right?those of us thinking of acquiring the dishes should hold and wait for the right tried and tested dish size that can deal with the being sporting decoder and not just open box v 8.seems the journey is still longer than we thought.

Using a B*in sports receiver I managed to get all channels mound n clear on a good day with a 150cm offset...a signal quality of 10% will still give u picture... When light rain comes the signal goes out fast....suggest a 240cm prime or 180cm offset 🙂
