On strong 4950H I scanned Intelsat 20 and apstar 7. The interesting channels. HD ones I have only sound but no video. I was told that entering power Vu keys will unscramble but I have no idea how to go about it with strong 4950h. Please help me out. Am newbie. I cannot get power Vu menu on strong 4950h

You'll have to go to crosat.us and download the latest firmware for 4950H (I believe its ver 3.34P). Unzip into a clean flash disk, plug it to your stb, go to usb menu, select the file to update the stb and you'll be set.

Guys,is anyone over there who has managed to open the P**Vu encrypted channels in SRT 4950h?I can see people saying it works thru Seca with new V3.34,but mine hasn't.

7e is quite "arrogant and proud". It has to be the prime lnb for it not to misbehave. The others come after. In Kenyan lingua, "haitaki kuwa mpango wa kando"

That tp has always been dead. Why don't you go for 3880H 30000 the channels are still rocking.

Guys, trick is find a dish that looks negleted. Trace the owner. Tell him/her how the dish is "badly damaged" but you still can have it repaired. Quote a very low price. Play with the owners mind and the dish is yours. Works in Kenya. Dont know about out there.
