I think they sold the 1.5m offset dish as this is 1.8m pf dish being sold @ ksh15000(USD160).....eish

Well, that looks like a second hand OFFSET dish. Its properly aligned though. And yes @15K it has been overpriced.

I doubt if that but is OFFSET and if so I believe it will disappoint you and thirdly its overprice .Infact it will cheaper importing a bud from SUBI in TZ since you are in MOMBASA

They dont shout it, but Chronic sufferers here own dish farms... and still counting. May I advice all newbies that the joy of FTA is in the improvement of your sat equipment (albeit gradually)-that way, you will never ever go wrong.

I think when I get space I'll add a 130cm offset for 7a and use the current 90 cm for SES 5 and maybe combine multiple lnbs to nab additional sat's.

BTW what's the difference between 130cm and 150cm in signal strength? is 150 cm overkill? the price difference is huge.

I've read some ASAS afflicted guys spend 250k+ on dishes and gear!!!

Hi guys yesterday I tracked arabsat 5c 20e with offset 135cm lnbf cband gulfstar using qsat 23....
Im in Dar es Salaam, but I managed to get only two tps 4054 R 27500 quality 70% (aljazeera) and 3885 L27500 quality 59% (africa tv).. though my target was irib package.. what possibly went wrong?

BeIN Media Group, which runs the beIN sports network of channels operating in Asia, Europe and the United States, has yet to finalise the acquisition according to Reuters sources, who declined to be identified as the information is not yet public.
"The negotiations are at an advanced level with beIN. They may be finalised in the next couple of weeks," said one of the sources. Another source said beIN was negotiating to buy all of Digiturk.
Digiturk, which has broadcasting rights for Turkey's top soccer league until the end of the 2016-2017 season, is 53 percent owned by Turkey's Cukurova Holding and 47 percent owned by US private equity group Providence Equity Partners.
Cukurova, the cash-strapped company controlled by Turkish businessman Mehmet Emin Karamehmet, had its Digiturk stake seized in 2013 by Turkey's Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) because of its debts to the state agency.
No one was immediately available to comment at beIN, Cukurova or Providence. The TMSF declined to comment.
