I read that post and was not convinced coz what I know the news channels on 201,@ 7 w, CNN, BBC, F24, movies DUBAI ONE, MBC are not easily receivable when you make 7a,e as your prime LNB , What you will get are channels from eutelsat 7w A @ 7.3W with a 130cm dish here in nairobi I hope you can clarify on that.

Use this TP-12601 H26656 for 68.5 E and lower your dish by 2mm and blind scan your decorder

Meanwhile...ADN stations - KTN - NTV - Citizen & -QTV

have appeared on C-band intelsat 902 3847Mhz SR: 5551 H

I'm receiving nilesat 201 and eutelsat7w on 90cm lnb inverto black single..... CN, aaljazeera, euronews cracking but wwatchable in fine weather. You must have a satellitefinder even a small deviation and you miss the signal.

Es'hailS is receivable in E.Africa. In Uganda here (southern Uganda ) I receive it with 130. i receive it though my intension is to receive Badr 5 my hd package. the two sats are almost at the same place. I also installed for a friend elshail targeting bein sports because sats with degrees around 26 E are not so much affected by rain fade.

What is the highest signal you're getting there, and on which beam.

Most of us how have no satellite finder to install dish, we usually use satellite receiver like SRT 4922 or 4950H.With an extension cable to supply electricity to the installation place,connect antenna cable on LNB mounted on lnb arm holder of the dish to the receiver. SRT 4950H press menu >> Installation press OK at Antenna settings then satellite and search your favourite satellite move to Transponder to search TP after that you can track your satellite on any side of east or west.
SRT 4922 Press menu >> Installation then OK Dish setting find satellite move to frequency search TP and the track your satellite with your dish.

I differ with you man.Since the launch of Nilesat 201 @7W on 4th August 2010,Dubai one frequency 11785v 27500 has always been the strongest TP on that sat.

My Dish Size is 130cm Eurostar, Eurostar SIngle LNB and am in Nairobi Area...I have noticed when it gets too cloudy..the MBC TP starts cracking but Hey its fine.. its not gonna be Cloudy Forever... 🙂 I will prbably need to get a top range LNB like inverto or Samson so for now am good..

My mbc is clear and stable at strength 85% and quality 40% dispite this foul wheather cnn cracking a little bit but watchable am using 130cm and starlife lnb location kasarani
