Only official firmware available (A3VST18_12_0143_WAF_WODP_WLDR_WADB)

The receiver was mainly meant for MBC HD channels.
You can get the official firmware from either ICHD website ICHD – Home to MBC HD Channels under software upgrade or Technosat T-786 Software Update (Feb-2012) – تØ-ديث جهاز رسيفر تكنوسات 786 MBC HD | |Ξπg.Mξ$#x86,>>
Firmware update last released in Feb 2012.

I thought you are in east Africa. The information I gave are for those in east Africa. in south Africa you need way bigger Dish. coz beam ends somewhere in Mozambique

I got the decorder after the demise of MBC... yes ..its capabalities are NOT upto standard as compared to 4922A .. its reception of weak signals is poor and the software appears to have bugs.... e.g it cant receive MBC sds !!!! However its quality of HD signals is greater than 4922 to my opinion...yes it was meant for MBC HD .. and as such I am using it only as a loop connected decorder to view HD channels

GTV used to offer 90cm dishes apart from Coastal region e.g Mombasa where they were offering 120cm. So if your guy does not reside in Mombasa then expect the dish to be 90 cm offset.
