yes it does accept DiSEqC, 4 way currently hooked to nilesat, amos and 57e, HD yes it does accept HD channels both on T2 and S2, remember when kiss and NHK were HD and of course NILESAT has lots of them all viewable. I think the killer punch is that it accepts cards yeh only tgat GOTV withdrew theirs, you could use one, maybe in future there will be cards fir local paytv.

As for pay sat am still thinking of what to get, Does Diablo card work with digi. anyone

The down side of the S2 is that there is no way to enter biss keys.

Yes it does have a blind scan, for LG, 32 inch are 1368x something I can't remember, if you want full HD 1080 then you go with 42 inch one. Lg releases like three models you could find 32ln541u with s2 and 32ln540a without, just check on the back to ensure there are two inputs one for terrestrial and another for Satellite. Since most of our local sellers are dumb sorry guys, S2 tuner is not a selling feature, its there but they are unaware of its purpose or use.

Lastly mine is a 2013 series, 2014 series are in the market Lb55 lb58 and the like. I think lb550v is the one with Satellite the other lb550a doesn't, price should be same.

A trick I use wheb Shopping is to check olx first, if you notice 20 or more sellers quoting eg 25000 currently for the set then thats the right price, head out to town if higher price is qouted tell them you saw a given price on olx only that you dont have time to find seller plus afraid of being conned, they will sell it for the price prevalent on olx.

If you buy from a supermarket sorry for you you will pay an arm and leg for the same thing. My lg one I bought for 29k was selling for 46k at tuskys, told the attendant at tuskys of price I bought mine, he told mine was the right price only that kenyans would buy anything from them out of fear of getting a fake in town.

Alas....the AMD channels on SES 5 seem to have gone $$$. Even though most of the movies were repeats that had aired on FOX MOVIES (7W) , it was good while it lasted.

Have u found a way of deleting channels on the LG TV, i can skip/hide and switch channels but how do u delete?

The frequcency range is also limited if i recall right u cannot exceed '4000'. LG also do not have any firmware upgrade to the TV. i would not recomend the TV to Wazee

Did you establish how the receiver can get to Nbi? I talked to the person selling and he did not seem to know how to send them to Nairobi. He was to check the cost of courier.

There are many buses plying the Kampala-Nairobi route and as far as I know all of them have courier services. Surely any Kenyan who has ever travelled to Uganda knows this.

Yesterday I received my Fuji quad LNB by bus courier from Kampala. I just called the shop owner where I bought my Combo receiver and after confirming the price (Eq. to Kshs:1500/=) I sent him the money by Mpesa (yes they have agents in Kampala) plus about Kshs. 640/= for bus courier.

I even chose the bus company (Queens) that would pass via Kisumu (my home town) and not via Eldoret to deliver it. Secondly you do not need a visa or even a passport to travel to Uganda and viceversa if you are a citizen of EAC.

All you need is your National Identity card to travel to any member state of the EAC. There is a lot of trade between Uganda and Kenya and for your information, Uganda is Kenya's biggest trading partner; not UK, USA or China.
