Thege, try 11492V30000 on Eutelsat 7A. I'm nabbing it but managing only Q of 39%. I guess that's a signal for a trip up the roof

About a week now that I have been out of the bush and on 7e.For Idman I get it @ 11492H29998 @ 62% and most of the other range from 62% to 64% no scratches and Idman goes up to 66% on a clear night.This is where I see in this field of FTA has no EQUALS other places are advantaged than others.Here in Eldoret am receiving using 180pf and a simple lnbf (Star-life) .During the month of July I was in NBI and I tried with 130cm offset but had a rough time and only managed to get National Geographic channel with alot of scratches and only later to try here in Eldoret and in less that 10minutes I was up and running.
Anyway that's life-Others find it Rossy while others its Rough.

jonathantich, well put. I am in Nbi and using a 180cm pf and a fuji lnb and all I can get is a mere 39% for Idman. But I am treating it as a blessing in disguise and are resisting the urge to visit the roof at the moment cos I know if I am able to nab it, it may mean end of TV watching for the rest of family! Anyway as G. Owell said, all animals are equal, but some like you in Idman case are more equal than us.

Same challenge for me here in Nairobi. I'm using Samson twin with 180cm pf dish. Achieving a maximum of 59% on the tp hosting bbc knowledge and bbc entertainment. How can I get to 66%? Tried using Fuji stargold pf lnb but it disappointed since it could not pull the dig****k signals. I also observed that fuji pf lnb nabs either horizontal or vertical and not both at the same time. Also tried the inexpensive starlife which has a good performance-- close to Samson twin. Someone please advice . I need them goodies.

My experience for Idman in Nairobi is (see my post on pg 487) you need a 240cm PF of 130cm and above offset. Even 130cm offset needs either Inverto or samson LNB and very good fine tuning for you to have a little stable picture (mostly from 7pm) on a clear day and on cloudy day you don't have it but any offset over 130cm and 240cm PF I recommend for stable picture

if u have tried but not lucky ...., try this. there are different ways of killing a mouse. 1st. an rg 6 cable about 1 m. this cable will run from UA lnb to diseqc. but before connection - cut the 1 m cable 30 cm from the end. now it is time to join. look for a small piece of aluminium ( not sure ) This is for joining the inside wire. the outer one remain the same. I swear, u will not regret this. then make sure but wires do not get in contact . connect them now, try good luck

My finding on iDMAN with 130cm in Nairobi is that Fuji (SSI-T1100) seem to be the best so far, on a clear day it is stable from 5pm and cloudy day from 8:30pm

Hi, i didn't check if it has English audio but i found my daughter watching a channel with cartoons but i can't recall if it was cartoon network or ultra kidz channel. Will check it over the weekend at the village where my 240 cm prime focus dish is. I tried to nail myhd with 130 cm offset dish in Eldoret the all of yesterday in vain. I only get the sd frequencies of Aljazeera, Sudan and Libya packages. I think i need a bigger dish here. At the moment i only use the card to watch MBC channels on Nilesat 7W. Where is your location sir kindly ? What is your signal strength of myhd channels and dish size ? This sat is troublesome, very elusive indeed.

Interesting. I will try and see if I can nab it too. Currently I am only able to get Natgeo People (never knew it existed when I was "on the other side" i.e. before I contracted ASAS)

The Russian Music channel is in glorious HD scanned as Planeta HD.

The tp is very weak you have to maximize your signal to get it.
