finally MBC have docked on yahsat.

Good Morning,

Frequency 11862 H DVB-S SR 27500 (Hosting MBC SD Package) posted on LyngSat website is not active.
The Frequency was only active for a few days around in September.

I recently docked my 2.4 meter offset on the bird and this are the results i got.
Lnb-- Inverto Ultra Black Quad lnb

Receiver-- Strong Srt 4922 HD.

Yahsat 1A Mena Beam

4 active frequencies on Mena Beam.

Frequency 11823 H DVB-S2 QPSK SR 27500 @ 91% signal strength

Frequency 11977 H DVB-S2 QPSK SR 27500 @ 90% signal strength

Frequency 12092 H DVB-S2 QPSK SR 27500 @ 89% Signal strength

Yamal 402 is the closest satellite with a beam in our region to Yahsat 1A, only 2.6 degress apart.

I receive both Yahsat 1A and Yamal 402 sat's on a 1.2 meter offset dish plus one fixed lnb.

Yamal 402 has an active frequency on the South beam footprint.

Frequency 11045 V DVB-S SR 40000 hosting channels like SportsHub, Loveworld, Relevant ++++

Frequency 11057 v 29996 (K24 and Family TV) is on Eutelsat 70B @ 70.5°E Africa Beam courtesy Wananchi Group's iSAT Africa ........................ Hopefully more local Kenyan and East Africa channels will pop up on Eutelsat 70B ..........

Hello satmates. ..I was over to Eldoret two days ago to asses and install for a pal a MY HD receiver on Badr5....the pan arab beam is so strong in Eldoret I even managed to get the Aljazeera news tp on the 90cm dish

To the real treat turning on the 180cm prime focus all the tps downloaded well with the fuji single lnb

So guys to the North 0.5° of the equator and along 36°E even with a 130 offset should give it a shot...
