Its not 30k for B**n sports, we paid between 17 and 25k for both the world cup and epl 2014/2015 depending on the day nearing the deadline, there was a discount for the ones who paid it early. Its paid in AED :cool2:

i tried hii kitu na installer jana....shida ni arabsat dish ina face juu kiasi nd nilesat na 7a ziko position moja .....ilikua hard....so the option ilikua nilesat na 7a nd i use idiman tv juu iko na sports....shida sasa ina crack mbaya....it was nt stable....last option was cloud tv kwa amos shida ingine dish ina inama sana na loose nilesat yote tena

Hi I have tried in vain to nail MyHD Channels on badr 4/5/6 at 26 degrees East in Eldoret using a 8ft offset dish but what what I only get are the Sudanese and Jordan media packages. Now with the departure of nat geo wild, MBC movies on Admc network to OSN which is prohibitively high in terms of monthly subscriptions, what other options can we explore ? To me MyHD offers the best option but why is it difficult to nail it ? Any suggestions ? It's beam is just like nilesat.

Can't get MyHD with an 8ft offset? Thats intriguing! I received MyHD in Kampala with a 130cm offset (about 3 months ago); as you can see the MyHD channels in my channel list in the photos I've attached. Polarisation is Horizontal on the graphic(s) simply because I don't skew the LNB. True the Arabsat footprint is rather tricky and tight like freddygaz cited on page432 but Eldoret is almost as close to the official footprint as Kampala and with an offset dish that size - there's every reason to be optimistic!

Hello Vince, yes you need to have a special decoder and subscription. I don't know of dealers that offer MyHD around K'la but I learnt through this forum that there are dealers in Kenya and at a very reasonable cost though I can't quite recall the amount in Ksh.
As for your idle 230cm offset, please ask me for an offer!

Hello Langat MY HD is on Badr5 Pan Arab beam that passes Uganda through kampala....it touches Kenya at the tip of lake Turkana....I might be coming to Eldoret for a similar instllation....try 11334V 27500 which habours Al Jazeera...its the strongest TP am getting with 150cm offset and am south of you by 1.7° 🙂
