This weekend i to the opportunity to resurrect my once dead and abandoned 6fts prime focus dish which has raid disused for close to 4 years now.
Have attached the photos maybe they might inspire others to raise their old equipment give them a new lease of life.

some diseqc increase signal, I just noticed that when I bought a new one yesterday,

I think there is an accumulation of rust due to weather in the old diseqc. This contributes to poor signal quality because of poor contact in the terminals. Try two new diseqc switches then give us a feed back if they will give different values. Kindly also furnish us with the type of switch.
