Hi Afrocentrix, in Nakuru with 130cm you are supposed to nab 7e europe b. Installed at Naivasha a 130cm with Fuji SSI-T1100 lnb and even managed to get Nat Geo though scratching. At Nakuru I believe the signal is abit strong since you can combine 8w & 7w and receive MBC & CNN on a 90cm which I did for a friend in Nakuru but at Naivasha it is not possible on a 90cm

thanks Permie.I agree with your statement .I normally combine 7w and 8w on 90cm. I once managed african beam on 7e with the 90cm but as I said ...still a puzzle why the Europe beam is elusive with the 130.the hunt continues.thats the fta spirit ...

I have combined nss 12@ 57.0e with intelsat 20@ 68.5e. Nss 12 is my primary lnb , most of the channels on 68 are gone, ctl, waptv etc.dish zuku size

My beIN Sports HD channels, which were to expire on 31-May-14, have been deactivated since 1-June-14.

This is despite the fact that i renewed them a month earlier, on 15-April-14, till April 2015.

I wrote an email to JSC cards and they responded last night as follows:

Activation Signal Sent
Premium
Smart Card Serial: 42*****881 ... Is paired to STB(s): 131******619
This Card still Valid and will be Expired on 19/04/2015

However, I'm still getting the E16-4 error message, yet they insist the card is active. Anyone with similar experience?

I bought a new STR 4922 stb recently which shows its software (and probably manufacture) is of 2012. Must I have all the patches released since then installed or installing the current one should be adequate?

You just have to install the latest patch only. Most important thing to do is do a full factory reset after the upgrade and also ensure you have a steady power supply during the upgrade as any power outage will fry your stb.

Whenever I flip through this channel called ABC on Amos 5 I usually come across this lady on the photo doing shows. It seems she's a One Woman Operation; in that she is the only one doing news and interviews 24/7. Does she even have time for other activities? I think that is an ASAS of a different magnitude.

Service working with mbc HD, still nothing on beIN, good info.
