I just bought a ku band Strong SRT L736 lnb. It has a noise figure of 0.3db. I hope its more powerful than Data Casting lnb which is also very good.

An srt receiver and astrovox which one is better to use while aiming to get all the mbc channels here in ug....

Go for srt4922 Hd you will never regret. As for mbc channels a 130 cm offset dish is better.

Hey guys,
Had time, lowered my dish 45mm was able to get eutelsat 8w have all channels CNN,MTV, BBC, and mmbc channels at 51% signal. That's the best I could do to maintain all channels though signal not very strostrong. Kitengela,1.8m atrovox VSR 900hd, Fuji star gold sg-900.

u should get mbc 62% if ur mtv was 70%

My MTV was below 70%. Lowering the dish to 50mm gets me stronger signals of up to 68% but I Lose the other channels. Signals of 51% Are delicate am thinking of nabbing 8w with a 90cm dish.

The dish with the red LNB (on the left) is an example of the offset, the other is an example of a prime focus dish.

The strong lnb performs very poor than the data casting lnb
