1. Maximum MTV and BBC Tps to 70%
2. Switch your decoder to Fox
3. Lower your dish while looking at your tv until fox starts to crack.
4. Lift it alittle to stabilize fox
5. You will lose both MTV AND BBC BUT.......

Your dish size/lnb model/geographic location? just so that we arm-chair engineers can compare data and find out if the prescription matches what we will get.:wink2: ie fox cracking, and the kaboom!:fear:

But they are all encrypted? :confused2: even if you got the beam, how do you deal with that? this weekend, i will try and see what i get on my 120cm off-set fibre glass dish. :boxing: will report.

The type/brand of decoder you use is not determined by the dish size. Any decoder will work on any dish size. Around here, most of us use Strong SRT-4922HD but there certainly are other capable DVB-S2/ MPEG-4 decoders in the market as you may have noticed in previous pages of this forum.

That used to be the price before bein went on secure mode. As at now no dealer will sell at that price. I have digged all over the internet. Someone with a link to prove me wrong

guysand girls,if any, this beeing a mainly fta forum, let us post whichever staions we detect as beeing consistent with sports and any other broadcasts of interest to the group members. let us not dwell too much on the subscriptions and extortions. am sure investing in a switch and an extra dish or two will be rewarding enough.

Based in kenya central i own a Zuku satelite set up, but i was very disappointed after a frnd of mine explained how i can get even much more for free with an fta setup.Now after farmiliarizing myself with fta technology iv now realized Zuku uses Satelite SES5 4degrees East.en there is an option to enter details manually (ie.Satelite.Frequency.Symbolrate.Polarization.Scan mode fta or all)..Now my big question is this,If i could get another fta dish can i enjoy other channels with this decorder by entering their details manually.b4 i raise cash to purchase an fta decorder.
 
Some few weeks ago, a member of this forum promised us pictures of his motorized dish set up, can't remember who but we are still waiting for the pictures. Plus with the pictures please add where you bought your motorized setup and at how much plus any other extras we might need.

Hi. i do believe there is a zuku decoder that does FTA, according to a forum member that was kind enough to show us how. whether there are other models, i can not tell. if you have this model, try an FTA blind scan. Castlenet SAS603 http://www.zuku.co.ke/decorders/Decorder2.jpg

I tried this and succeeded in getting "Fox cracking" but sadly no "Kaboom." Location, Nyahururu.

Bought Humax IR3000HD from Dubai last week at that price.
 
Hello fellow members....any information on Eutelsat 7A? I need to lock on this bird...does it still have Kenyan local channels on KU band? Please help

I can help you import the decoder and card from Dubai. But my suggestion is that since EPL is ending in May, hold your horses. After World cup these things are even going to fall in price. Believe me. And importing for 1 person is cumbersome. Get 10 like-minded fellaz who want to import these gadgets and hit my inbox.
