I can confirm getting both Amos 5 and Eutelsat 16A on one dish. Signal quality on both are very good. Quite an number of goodies on both sats.. Occasionally the pay TVs "forget" to turn on encryption and I get to enjoy some goodies

I've noted that there has been a a number of Nigerian Based Pay TV coming up lately.. not sure if the demand is that high in , but it seems like the collapsed of HiTV paved way for the new entrants. - like Daarsat,Montage,Consat,Infinity .. the one Nigerian Pay TV that has stood the test of time is MyTV on intelsat20, i think its partnership with Strong has been key to its survival.

My lnb is supermax with a 1.8m dish n whenever I insert the cable in my srt 4663x, s/w 1.18p,h/w 1.10,boot version 2.01(0b:54) decorder keep switching off..what should I do to enable nabbing?

check cable connection it may be short circuit

All this time it‘s with me and i never realized. am talking about digital tv signal(signet). transmitter on nyambene hills being over 200km away, i thought i will never get them. a friend of mine bought gotv and asked me to help install it for him but to my suprise channels stream in together with signet ones. now am shopping FTA DVB-T2 STB.
am interested in those STBs with good picture quality, any suggestion?
