An lnb is not meant to blow out unless you mishandle it (like droping from a height or submerging it in water for a period of time). These thing are made and meant to withstand the elements. Got my first lnb in 2004 and its still going strong. It has outlasted two dishes which tend to rust very fast due to the salinity in the moisture in Mombasa weather.
ps. A 1.8 i got in 2009 needs to be replaced, its already rusted and thats why i can get any tp on 7w above 12322.

Good morning All

i turned on my SRT 4922 HD this morning and got shocked, digiturk goodies on Eutelsat 7A are scrambled. i couldn‘t believe my eyes, so i started changing channels to see if indeed all are scrambled. bbc knowledge scrambled, e2 scram, nat geo, nat geo wild scrambled..........Alas!!!! then all over sudden they are back.

lately after i upgraded my receiver with new SW 150, it developed some problems, first it doesn‘t show EPG at all, respond slowly to remote, and overheat a time when i connect it to a router, it seems this SW has alot bugs. am hopin the new software will help in solving this.

am able to lock on 3040 H 28067 the Somali mix on my home but doing installation somewhere I couldn't lock on anything apart fro what u got

receiving over 70 channels, using 1.8m c-band.signal is good too.

EUTELSAT 25B

The above sat is the new addition to Eutelsat fleet....after nabbing a few transponders from Badr I gave it a short.....
I got all the transponders including the ones hosting the B*IN packages.....In Kabete East Africa sing a 150cm offset! :biggrin:

Judging by the footprint it can be received all over Kenya but for our Tanzanian brothers you may need upto 3M antennae...Am getting a signal strength of 66% on the available transponders...
