the MBC HD channels on 11471 V
27500 are not on eutelsat 7 wA as stated earlier, but on eutelsat 8wA. i had to reduce signal quality of those channels on 7 wA by about 6% by lowerin my dish to nab these channels. i hav love the picture quality

MBC HD channels are also FTA on Eutelsat 7 WEST A (NWA) North West African Foot Print on frequency 11555 V SR 27500

Swali ni, whats your current gear for KENYAMUX? This lot (scattered all over) seems to elude many fta satt enhusiasts here especially our coastal mates.
I'm locked to 10a@10e 240cm (walakini Citizen Tv siyo fta hapa) . Do we have cheaper options really?
Iam sure that wazee mob wameopt for the dvb-t2 signal, etc or worst still pay thieves.

thanks for the correction. On my side, Eutelsat 7W, Nilesat 201, and Eutelsat 8W are all picking on the same lnb. Qtv on 11513V27500 also shows movies with english audio. I managed to combine nss 12, Africasat, astra 2f and amos 5 on 1.8m with africasat as the prime. Check the pic

Family tv 1 has popped up on intelsat 68.5 ku freq 11492 v 2151 with very strong signal, and going by discussions this evening about 6pm the family media will be partnering with other media houses especialy religious stations to bring up all local channels on one sat.according to them they have already obtain fta licence and by mid next month they will be up and running.They will enlighten the masses, but its direct to home prodcasting DVB-S2.They didn't mention the satelite they will be using but they will be selling the decorders and antennas(sat-dish)so lets cross our fingers and wait.
