Great setup.Can you add Arabsat 5C on your setup?I want to get 7E but the tps on this satellite seems to be weak so almost impossible to have multi-LNB setup unless it a primary one.Please post a pic on this setup.

i have not tried adding Arabsat 5C. Here is the pic.

very possible. I have posted the pic of sat combo including astra 2f on one of the pages of this forum but now i have another sat combo on 6ft with 7A as the prime and amos 5 lnb attached and the strongest tp goes up to 88% quality while astra 2f at 65%.

I used inverto ultra black single on a 2.4 pf with 7e as prime. Am in machakos town. waiting for your feed back to give it a try again. Hunting continues. Thanks.

actually am using global single lnb and on 6ft. But i also did the combo on 8ft facing east with up to 7 lnbs. Please note that it is the west africa beam of astra 2f that am able to pick

Thanks Abaya but that one doesn't feature a Conditional Access slot, I think still referred to as CI slot. That is a place to slot in a subscription card in the future if one so wishes.

Microville Gospel STB has a card slot. Chekout xipoint HDT 7205 T2 goes for Kshs 5,500.

Could you kindly post a photo of the dish set up. It would be of much help.

Sorry for late reply but i have been so busy. here are the photos. This is a 130cm offset dish. The top most lnb is for Nilesat(Fox-movies at 80% quality), middle lnb is for Eutelsat 7A (BBC persian at 60%-need beeter lnb) and the lowest is Amos 5. There is room for more satellites but i am not interested in them yet. i am also planning to move to a bigger prime focus but they are out of stock for now in Kampala. good luck!!

I'm not sure, that link was sent to me by a forum member well over a year ago. You may have to get it from the suppliers on that website. Just out of curiosity, why would you want one with a card slot?

I hope you mean files on your USB. Note that some file formats are not supported.

as long as the video file is mp4 or flv format the reciever will play it

the decoder model is humax 1000s, its very small and very light and doesnt have a usb or ethernet port.
i think this reciever was made in a big hurry and its not something you would expect from a big company like jsc. The old jsc cards are also working on this decorder without a hitch and this leaves me confused on all this decoder/card marriage thing. Although Humax have maintained their high end top quality video i rate this decoder 2 out of 10
