Hi forum members. with the 6ft pf some tps on 7e failed to pop up esp the 11617 which i was so eager to nab. Asas pushed me to the edge of a cliff and i had to give in to its demands . I found myself in Nairobi withdrawing some cash from an atm. No sooner had i come to my senses than the cash had already been exchanged with a 8ft pf dish. On my way back, i almost slapped myself for 'wasting' family resources. I momentarily felt a goon. After assembling the entire set up,putting it up in the right position, i realized that it wasn't a waste but instead money well spend. I managed to get BBC Persia at a Max of 80% and Nat Geo (11617) at a max of 60%. The Nat Geo & Co. are stable Most of the time. FTA NASH et al, what %ages are you getting?. Regrets are long gone. The memories of the amount i used have faded and diminished. Iam now happy and Blessed. Now, That is ASAS. Be Blessed.

Congratulations. That's the spirit of FTA. It forces one to make 'extraordinary' decisions regarding family finances. For instance, one time, I was faced with a tough decision on whether to buy 'much needed' household items or a Satlink Meter ....... and guess what? ......... to my amazement I bought the expensive meter! .... At least my family understands I am suffering from the dreaded ASAS chronic disease!

Now regarding the 7E Europe beam goodies, now that the sky is clear, my 7E Europe beam has improved significantly with only a few 'scratches'.
I have a 'bad' feeling that one of these fine days we might wake up to a rude shock that is not small .... to scan our delicious D*i*g*t*k channel list as usual .... only to find "dollar signs" on all the goodies! No problem, FTA is about chasing elusive channels ever migrating to new birds! The spirit lives on ..... we will just re-orient our Big New 8ft dishes to other birds and move on ..... Just food for thought.

do you mean 'does the SRT 4950 H' -the bigger box with the LCD screen at the front - have the same tracker indicator. Answer is, I dont know, it certainly does not have the LED that changes colour from Red to Green, perhaps there is an indication in the text on the front LED display panel, but I have never used it. The good thing about the SRT 4950 M is that the indicator light is on a lead which is a meter or so long, so you can hang it right under your dish that you are adjusting and see it easily. This would not be the case with the bigger SRT 4950 H

I got my IR3000HD through a friend in Qatar...The current price there is 499AED..(Roughly 10k).

Mine had the same problem but on pressing the audio button twice the commentary came Live.

Sir, hoping the New Year has started well on your side. If one currently has a working SRT4922 plus JSC/beIN card combination, will they be married? Or, does it mean anyone not using the Humax3000HD will be 'switched off'? Currently, I can enjoy the beIN sports (beIN 1 to 11) Live via the IPTV offering on SRT4922 latest software. The only downside is that the IPTV consumes around 100MB of internet per hour! I guess the IPTV route (and potential Card Sharing) for beIN sports might still be available for awhile from "third parties".

I cannot vouch for dongles but research shows that a signal that is married to a card and a decoder is hard to simulate and thus for those using special decoders for this, your days might not go beyond March.

msondaa, Yes you experience the lack of commentary during matches coz your audio is set to Digital Plus. If you change audio to english, you will have english commentary. Just press the audio button on your remote twice..enjoy

LoL! On a light touch, maybe after March demand for "married gadgets" might rise around here for Soccer fans; And guys with import-export connections for Humax gadgets might soon be smiling all the way to the bank ....!

I don't know why doesn't this tp respond 12322v, how do i suppose to set the Lnb, right now the cable is at 4 o'clock side, and watching Dubai one with 73% signal.

The problem could be the size of your dish - if it is large. Large dishes have narrower beam patterns. This means they are sensitive to small changes in azimuth or elevation. Remember dubai1 is on nilesat 201(7.0w), while MBCs are on eutelsat 7wa (7.3w). Small difference but on a large dish you may need to change elevation to receive either. Try tilting your dish lower (very slightly).

Please insert the dielectric (Polariser) the white " Biscuit like " plate in the LNB.
your polarisation H is L and similarly V is R
Use TP 3837 R 1185,3839 R 1185,3841 R 1185 to tune into the sat. This is the most stable signal on the sat.
Try to tune perfectly and get maximum strength on this ...
Remember the Kenya Mux signal 3739 V 10321 appears around 6-9pm and disappears around 10pm-12midnight.

Hi.... I'm using ES21 ,I'm partial to it however I know pple who have a bias to supermax.... you should be able to track using supermax...

NEWS UPDATE:

BeIN Sports are currently "marrying" their cards to decoders and the deadline is January 31. If you got ADMC decoder you may not marry the card because it is already married to another card.

The decoder that they are advertising is HUMAX 3000 HD which is not available in Luthuli.

Please take note that once the Card-Hardware marriage is complete (consumated) you may not be able to unscramble the signal using any other means.


I have asked someone in Dubai to check out the prices for this HX3000HD and I will be having the price today. I have teamed up with Lagat and we wont be left out on this one. Anybody interested in upgrading and not being left behind can contact Lagat or inbox yours truly so that we bring the hardware in bulk and save on freight charges.

Hi, how did it arrive here and at what cost ? Africa Salihiya are shipping but minimum kilos are 10 @ 5USD per kilo. So it is expensive to import one receiver.Let us real up.

According Bein sport FAQ, it seems all models of humax HD receivers are authorised.

On intelsat 22 you need a decoder with multistream capability. Srt4922 doesn't have the capability
