We were informed of one called Eurostar ESCDT-700 though I haven't tried it myself yet.

Eventually with a local satellite guy i have managed to hit nilesat. Strength 90 signal 90. The secret is patience and satellite signal meter. Thanx to this family nimetoka mbali.
 
hi kungu 1 the guru,am a kenyaan and new to this froum.could you kindly advise where i can track back the kenya mux channels since there seems to be a blackout on nss12 57E. or is there an option where i can access the above on ku band.

Going back to my 1.5 years old but in good condition 6ft pf dish(with very few dents), i replaced the lnb with a stargold fuji single. my target was to try and improve bbc persia at 7e to 79% quality from 68%. the quality improved to a max of 74%. most of the tps pulled in with about three tps complaining that the plate was too small to accommodate them and therefore refused to check in. this was btn 9 and 10 am and clear sky. Despite the cracking of some channels, there was a remarkable improvement and so far so good. planning to look for a bigger plate in which this bird can fit with all its arrogant tps. with hard work and patience, its possible. All the best in your hunting.

For some reason when i replace the inverto black with stargold fuji single the signal strenght increases by 5% but quality drops to 0% for most channels .I have skewed it various direction to no effect.I have a feeling there is something i am missing on the star gold thats why my quality is zero when i replace the invertro without changing anything.Any advise?

my experience with inverto it doesn't lie. if your quality is zero check ua dish alignment. when u hit green you will realise inverto gives more quality than the later. trust me.
 
Has anyone been able to get HD channels on Arabsat 5c at 20E? Are the kenyan mux at 60E still there?

I seem to have the same problem.it started 2 weeks ago. Does anybody seem to have a solution especially on ku band.
 
The Daarsat package on Amos5 (17 E) on TP 11008 V 30000 (DVB-S2, MPEG4) is currently FTA.
 
Hi guys, just joined. These posts are great and insightful. I just someone would post 'a layman version' or ' FTA for dummies. I'm just starting out and i can't figure out half the things you guys talk about. Basically I'd like to know what I need to get set up. I have an Astrovox 9000 and a D**v dish and thats just about it. Where do I go from here? Thanks

Hehehe. Mullah nakuona umefika. Lesson one, try to read from page 1. You will get pretty much within the first 20 pages, with patience. One thing for sure, you need to get yourself a bigger dish depending on what you intend to achieve.

Kuna beste ananishow i need a new dish so that I can track that west sh*t. I think he is saying I can get 50ish FTA channels with the normal dish and the astrovox. Still clueless on how everything is supposed to work.
 
blind scan eutelsat 7A Zimbo positin nd get bein 1,2 HD + an adult channel 3dhustler.
