Whats happening to 7e africa beam?
12521H27500, 12604H30000, 12645H30000, 12728H30000 are all off and mbc is now on 11202H3210

Hi all. As the saying goes, "the sky is the limit". we will do everything right and within our means to make fta a success. Its becoming almost impossible to get 150cm and above offset dish or 8ft pf. I have checked with several shops in Nairobi without success. Iam still hopeful someone can still help me. Those who already have such dishes, guide me as to where we can get them. Iam in a serious need. Hunting reloaded. Be blessed.

I got my 240cm pf from Alpha Sounds in 2011, cost about 20k at the time. An ASAS victim in Msa should also be able to confirm price and availability for you. Check a few pages back on this forum. All the best.

The StargoldFuji (one with a long neck) costs around Sh.1600 (USD20). My conclusion is that the StargoldFuji works best with brand new dish. I tried it on a slightly dented 6ft Eurostar PF dish and it was outperformed by the Samson Twin on both 7E and 7W.

Hello FTA-Nash, that's a very big achievement, inspired by your experiment, on top of our arrangement for Inverto Ultra Blackk KU LNB, i think i should also try an buy a 6ft Eurostar PF dish considering the fact that i have a stargold Fuji (long neck) LNB lying at home doing nothing. which-ever option yeilds the best results, will stay on 7east and the other equipment will work on other satellites. i will do this at the end of this month. thanks for always sharing such wondeful information. pliz post for me a photo of your current setup for 7east.😛ray:

Check for the 240Cm PF dish at Riwara shop and Digital-Life Electronics, off Luthuli Avenue. Last month they had them for KSh.22K. They might also know which other shop has it. Check your PM too for more details.

Well after failing to the other Tps other than BBC Persia on 7E, turned my energy to Nilesat 7W series. Mmmmh, managed to nail MTV, CNN, Bloomberg, Press TV, Euronews, AlJazeera English, France 24 etc. The signal cracks at times but so far so good. BBC and the likes stable. How i wish was further up North. I changed LNB from Samson Twin 0.3dB to Starlife Twin 0.1dB and the difference was stark. I can Nail 844 channels from the Nilesat birds. At least my 130cm dish didn't go to waste. Someday when i have the space, will graduate to C-band, for now, let me do Ku-band.

Inverto black ultra single
Samson twin 0.3db
Starlife Twin 0.1db
Starlite single
Discovery 0.1 db

Well, i bought Samson Twin 0.3 db at 1,500/= and Starlife twin 0.1db at 1,500/= The 2 are available at Riwira Electronics junction of Luthuli/River Road junction.

Let me ask, does the digiturk package show epl n other matches?my BBC Persian is @63 n discovery scratching @56 ..could using the cband scalar ring instead of a prime focus ku lnb holder be the problem?

Holycow, am also on your track,I can get BBC percia at signal strengh of 72,Quality 76%,The other tps are just around the corner showing briefly at Siganl Strengh of 72 ,Quality (0-39) hence no picture. my Africa beam is at (signal strengh at 74% and quality at 90%).Been on the roof the whole Friday Afternoon.at the least i can say the European beam is not a figment of imagination:A S wink:.I was able to get ses5 earlier at (90,90) signal/quality yesterday before swinging the dish to 7A.Anybody on advise on how to increase the quality for the remaining tps to around 60-70% is highly welcomed

7e b beam works all in ethiopia 65cm. i'm using eurostar 9700hd+ with prot sw working fine but nohd. problem in asiasat5 what's 4:2:2feed? how 2get biss key feeds? whats wrong with edgesport not acepting keys.

The HD ones as well as MBC Persia are scrambled and require specific decoders (Technosat & myHD) to open. The SD ones on 12322v and 12302v ziko wazi.

Thank u very much mr holy for all that. however, from yr posts, it appears as if I am several km behind u coz for example, when I downloaded aspecial software from crossat, my srt 4922 refused to upload it n I got stack there. again, I hv not got bbc at nilesat and aljazeera hd channels hd a very small signal which is not stable. Am unable to receive IS904. so, I don't know what n when I will start enjoying this

Single solution brother, which brand, i don't know, I have Eurostar single solution and i have no problems with Signal.
