Looking on for the analog switchoff on 26th Dec 2013...the downside as I per see is that a big blow to us FTA guys....the only local channels that will be available are to be on Intelsat 22 hosting the signet downlink....a 2.4M dish will be needed for the reception unless they will still use the existing transponders for sometime.

On nilesat, they are not fta. You need a jsc card.

IP in this case means Internet Protocol. In short, this is where to input internet settings in order to connect your box to the internet.

Aljazeera is trying to confine its coverage within MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region due to complaints from d**v.For those with jsc cards, you must have seen advert below your screens while watching football games written " viewing only authorised within middle east and north africa"

A new PayTV provider by the name “Satelio” (www.satelio.tv) is coming up on Intelsat 20 (12522V30000). Has 22 channels so far including Satelio Infokanal, Prosieben, Kabeleins, Vox, RTL, Jukebox, Euronews, N24, C-Music, Africa Movie Channel, IMovie2. Seems like a German / Austrian service provider. IMovie2 is currently FTA, broadcasting in English. The others are scrambled.

Works great on 90Cm Eurostar offset dish. All TPs are very stable even in cloudy weather.

Yahsat-1A West beam TPs: 67-68% Quality [Dubai One HD, Russia Today, Nat Geo, Fox, Fox Movies, Abu Dhabi Sports].
NSS12 TPs: 67-69% Quality [NTV, QTv, KTN, Kass, K24, Family 1, Family 2].
