Hi Drando. Do you still remember me? I'm the Kenyan guy you helped to direct to the dealer in Kampala where I bought (very cheaply) my SR-2000 EXTREME.My 2000 extreme is stuck on boot, how to revive it?
It'd help if you gave him a link.*Download The Boot Solution .rar File

What link? It'd help if you gave him a link.
Ok sorry for requesting the link. What link?
I'm just quoting verbatim what I read on the forum. No link was given. If you have the link, please provide it. Thanks.

I saw this suggestion on some Asian StarSat forum but their English is so "crooked". Try to use the method suggested and see if it works. I have never used it myself.
"Boot Stuck Solution For Starsat 2000 Extreme:::::::::::::
(Which Happens In Case Of Electricity Fail While Installing Software).
*Download The Boot Solution .rar File
*The USB Should Be FAT32 With Nothing Else In It.
*Extract The Boot Solution.rar And Copy The Folder ''files'' in the USB (It Won't Work In Case If You Copy GxRom.bin In USB)
*Connect The USB To The Back Port Of The Receiver (Receiver Should Be Turned Off From The Back Power Button)
*Now Press The Standby Button From The Front Panel Of The Receiver (And Also Turn On The Receiver From The Back Power Button) Until A SW Upgrade Menu Occurs The Receiver Shall Reboot After This SW Installation Process."

In my view, chinasat 51.5e is currently the best FTA sat for the 90 cm dish. The downside is that next the tesstv package might disappear to 53w or 110.5e without any notice😀😀😀. You need to tweak your setup if, in addition to the above, you are not getting more TeeSTV channels including mbc2,mbc action, mbc max,mbc4,mbc bollywood, BJkids,A1kids, fox news,BBC,ALJAZEERA,RT and several others to bring the total number of channels to over 20.However,i think the channels are mostly in SD-not HD. In addition , an inverto black ku lnb with a 90 cm dish also combines the teestv on 51.5e with part of 52e monacosat (abu dhabi-12456 v)-not stable- and yahsat 52.5e(11977h -RT news)-stable-which is in HD.Hello guys,i managed to track 52.5e. Using RT hd tp the RT where not ok,cracking, at strength 81 quality 61.though got
Tp 11090 H30000 (abt 13chnnels)(most HD)

Ahoy ASAS sufferers!!!Since my linux-based chinco combo receiver has IKS support,i want to experiment with the cccam, newcamd and oscam that i see on the receiver and i need to buy a wifi dongle. But after doing some research, there seems to be a wide disparity in the prices of the dongles ,from one going for sh.393 on kilimall(PIX - LINK LV - UW10S WiFi Dongle 150M USB Adapter BLACK @ Kilimall Kenya,to others going for over shs.1000( e.g. Wifi USB Dongle – Black and USB WiFi Dongle 150Mbps 802.11N Network Card Wirel Black one size @ Kilimall Kenya. At first glance they generally seem to do the same job but the price variance makes me uneasy . what should i look out for?i need advice urgently so as to avoid blunders. The idea is to use WIFI to connect the receiver to a laptop with internet.
i bought it from a chinco factory on alibaba. It has no name,it is just written t2+s2 combo receiverJust to avoid guess work with those wifi dongles just get in touch with GIDEN and he will hook u up with a dongle that will work
By the way Which linux based chinco box are you using
