You will get a good 6ft for 20-25$ . Try and look for caretakers and befriend/enquire for abandoned ones. Initially don't offer to buy but to dispose the crap but offer a token of appreciation. You will be surprised. getting one with an lnb for a song. All the best.

Ha ha GIDEN, I have done that and I nearly got pissed up by 2 yards. Believe you me they were selling a 90cm at $30 more than twice the price of a new one and they dared ask me whether I want it complete or the dish only to which I retorted that even the one that I am using I bought when new and it didn't cost me more than a half of their lowest price. Both couldn't go below $25 for dish only!

Thats a paytv decoder. If you read some information here you would have learnt that. You need a full FTA decoder to enjou.

Very simple!
Have your decoder and a monitor screen close by. Set your decoder to beep when the sat is hit, Input the 8w tp first lest you bypass 5w. Use this one 3926v 30000 (I assume its Cband that you target just by the mere mention of 18 w.
Then while on the back of your 8footer, lift your dish up slowly by like 3-4 inches and you will start hearing the beeping BPM increases, then azimuth your dish to the right a bit and you will hit the green high. That way you know you are close to 5w. And at this juncture I can attest 8w is far better for cband than 5w.
Alright. Once your are there, input this tp. 3712 V 4250 for crtv then elevate your dish slowly again for like an inch and your are there!

NB.
When you are on 8 west. It's possible you may hit that signal high but if you by interest would like to scan it may not yield any channel, if that the case turn the dielectric bar on the other marks whether cutting between the lnb iner probes or the other way.

8ft progresses at about 2° per inch moved. Means you have to move the elevation support about 11 inch to shift from 18w to 5e.

But you can boil milk using paraffin. Bb dish could be used as paraffin to boil things at 7w
